The Rise & Fall
Players can form groups of 3, creating kingdoms, houses or clans within the land, to try to take hold of the Ali'Kan Seal which grants incredible magic power to rule the world with. While in possession of the seal, not only do players become more opposing, but do not face the "Toll of Fate," in which the Seal syphons life force!
The Conflict: The Toll of Fate
As magic has been released back into the world by the cursed seal, it slowly takes its toll on players by draining our souls. The group with the Seal is protected from this, and can decide how merciful they would like to be to the others or not, choosing only 50% of players to spare! Players get 5 lives before perma-death, and if your kingdom or group takes hold of the seal, you can gain a life back during the Toll Time and choose others to receive a life back as well.
The goal of the seal holding group is to decide the path of the world according to how they see fit. Those with the seal pick 2 world-wide rules all must follow. Enjoy the full immersion of medieval rise and fall of kingdoms, where even the smallest act of the lowliest peasants can shift the entire fate of all!
PvE & Fantasy Life Simulation Experience
Shadow's Reign is slow paced to allow time for players to set up and enjoy a fantasy themed, PvE oriented world. PvP is allowed of course, but in themes reflecting the times such as arena combat and formal wars / conflicts. Players are allowed to create shops, enjoy an economic structure, go to balls / dances, marry / have families as we develop our lives in the Realms of Arkana.
